Objective: To provide an enriching cultural experience for select HS students and their host families and select Chinese HS students and their counterparts.

Objective:

AGI’s Camping program is designed to give students, ages 9 – 18, a unique opportunity and learning experience to concentrate on ESL skills while touring with trained teachers during summer months while in the US.
 

  • English Writing Skills

    • This program is designed to help international students who are preparing for undergraduate or graduate studies, degrees in healthcare and healthcare management, and college graduates seeking business degrees. Its purpose is to cater to the students’ needs for academic English writing as preparation for studying abroad. International students coming to the US to study typically excel in mathematics and sciences, and struggle with their written communication skills.

    • We continually find that business people seeking improvement in their businesses oftentimes have difficulty achieving their goals because of faulty communications. Our English Writing Skills program addresses those challenges.

  • English as a Second Language

    • Most of our international students want every opportunity to learn in the language basic to their area of study. Knowing they will be judged academically (equally) with native students, achieving mastery of the English language becomes an important prerequisite.

    • Prior to coming to the US for study, AGI offers online language training for all of our applicants. Whether or not language scores are strong enough to start, our training program helps all students feel comfortable and more confident when getting ready to study.

    • AGI has developed custom ESL programs to meet the needs of our international students. Whether they are taken on campus or in one of our custom program settings, AGI will see to it that students will be fully prepared to learn along with their classmates.
